River of Life’s 23rd Anniversary
On September 23 marks 23rd year celebration of the River of Life Cainta.
Started as a small tent built with bamboo post and tarpaulin canvass as roof on a muddy vacant lot which they call church building then, River of Life sprouted into what we are today with almost 200+ people, more than 50+ church workers and 1 offspring church (the ROL Batasin).
Among the past pastors, we attributed the growth of the church to Pastor Mike Tappan. He had served the church the longest and he had instilled to us the very meaning of the church, which is family. He taught us that the church is not the building nor the programs we do, but the people – the rocks that builds the church. Through his year’s he raised up strong rocks that
“Unstoppable Church” , that’s the theme for this year’s anniversary. As this church,River of Life is built on the rock (Jesus, the strong foundation), nothing could ever stop us and nothing can go against us.
