RIVER OF LIFE BATASIN MOVES TO THEIR NEW BUILDING
A momentum was created for the Batasin people. They were given a chance to have a new place for their church which was always flooded for the past few years. So much thankful for our brethren in US and Canada they had a chance to move to a bigger venue and on a higher ground.
“It was prayer answered” said Ptr Jerbis Manonson, who earlier lost a son because of cancer. After he buried his son and mourned he said I will continue to serve the Lord no matter what.So for 2 years now he has served a community of urban poor people in Batasin hungry for God and service to the Lord. They managed to rent a buiding where when it rains , there’s more water inside the church than outside because of a lower ground level than the road.It can also hold only about 50 people. So they prayed ,and prayed and prayed
Now their prayers were answered. Now they have a new building. An answered prayer for faithful men who wants to make a difference in this little town. The building now was said to hold about 100 people. Volunteers helped tear the walls to make room for the congregation chairs. They cleaned it and piut some old chairs. Now they have been steadily increasing as they serve the Lord in their place. All they can say is thank God for this wonderful gift.
