A NEW MEDICAL MISSION COMMENCES
Thankful for a new season in her life. Joanne Datangel Gallardo finished her residency at National Childrens Hospital. She started treating children in the slums of Manggahan Floodway as well as rural towns of Binangonan and Angono, Rizal.
She wants to grow a mission clinic in the church to help more poor people who cannot pay medical care. In the Philippines there is no mandatory health insurance. If there is one it will be too expensive for poor people who earn a meager $6 a day .That’s her dream, to serve the Lord in medical missions. But still she wants to start it small. To create a sustainable effort to raise standards of medical care for those who cannot afford it . It is just a start ,she will need partners to support the ministry .She will need a continuous supply of medicine and goods to help the the people.as well as funding for operations. For her it is the start of a wonderful chance to give back to God of his goodness to her.
